By strategic communication (for social change), GPI means an evidence based and result oriented communication undertaken with active involvement of participants using a combination of communication approaches to stimulate positive and measurable behavior and social change.

It is also a process of public and private dialogue through which people define who they are, what they want and how they can get it.

GPI will utilize this strategy extensively and it will involve community dialogue and consultative sessions, community education and public enlightenment, knowledge building, Media programme (print and electronic), Media Academy, commemoration of special events, drama, risk assessment exercises, production and distribution of information and educational materials and parents/daughters/teachers forum
