Presentation of GPI
Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI) is a registered not for profit, youth development organization founded in 1993 to intervene in the socialization of girls for the realization of a society where women are visible and valued actors. Children and young women are the primary beneficiaries of GPI programs while adult males and other stakeholders are secondary beneficiaries as they are targeted mostly within the context of influencing them to become supportive of child protection and gender equality initiatives.


Context and justification of the project
Facing the growing number of very young victims of trafficking from Nigeria crossing Libya to arrive in Europe where they are exploited in prostitution, PACKING project aims to inform and eradicate human rights violations against migrants and asylum seekers, in particular children and women coming from Nigeria and at risk of humans trafficking.


In order to prevent human trafficking, to provide assistance to victims and to better understand the process of recruitment of the victims in Nigeria in order to better protect the victims in the destination countries through asylum particularly, the PACKING project is implemented in three countries:

–          Nigeria, country of origin of the victims

–          Libya, country of transit of victims

–          France, country of destination of victims


This call is to identify and contract a third party who would execute the PACKING project activity: “Support to vulnerable girls and families” in order to reduce their risk to human trafficking

Implementation of the activities

These activities will be done under the supervision of Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI) who is linked by a Partnership Agreement with ECPAT France and the European Union.

A special contract will be signed between the GPI and the awarded applicants.


Dates of realization of the activities:

November 1st 2017 to June 30th, 2018
