through groups they have put together for that purpose. In the Benin Centre, Face-It and Focal View Organizations which are visibly involved in the fight against sexual violence on campuses are the initiatives of four GPI graduates from the Oasis '97 and '98 sets. In the Calabar Centre, two seed groups namely the Women's Health Empowerment and Action Project (WHEAP) and Action have been formed by the '97 and '98 seeders respectively. The existence of these groups is a testimony to the impact of GPI on their founders and the potentials the GPI program poses for social development.

All the graduates from the GPI program are members of GPI Alumnae Association which is currently active in facilitating the community intervention programs of GPI graduates

GPI is privileged to have mentored the formation of other adolescent and women's rights organizations. Noteworthy is the fact that some GPI graduates have themselves commenced social action in their communities
